The Red Cap Oranda is a popular fancy goldfish that originated through selective breeding in China and Japan. It is well-known for its bright red head growth (called a “wen”) contrasted against a pure white body. This variety is loved for its gentle personality and elegant appearance, making it one of the most recognizable goldfish in the hobby.
